Filtrona Porous Technologies Highlights New Tech at Compamed

Molded and thermo-formable, medical-grade foams among products featured.

Filtrona Porous Technologies, a manufacturer of custom fluid-handling products, is exhibiting a range of technology including bonded-fibers, polyurethane-based foams for advanced wound care applications, sintered porous plastics, clean room wiping materials, and brand-protection products at the Compamed trade fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, from Nov. 14-16.

New innovations to be featured at the show include molded and thermo-formable medical-grade foams and speciality wiping materials for use within the clean environments required by the medical and life-science markets.

New developments expand the range of materials available for customized solutions in advanced wound care and other healthcare applications that require unique shapes, durability, and increased functionality, according to the company. Filtrona offers a portfolio of hydrophilic foams, bonded fibers, and porous plastics.
